The book is available at our library (sorry, can't link you to the exact book) and so far is definitely worth the read!
On a slightly different aside, I read this quote on my twitter stream and was very taken by it:
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and then relearn. Alvin TofferThat quote reminded me of what I have above my desk at work and at home, and is of a very similar theme:
#know how to find informationMay literacy in all its many shapes and forms be promoted as part of our life long learning journey, and try and borrow David's book from a library - it is so worth a read!
#know how to validate it
#know how to synthesize it
#know how to leverage it
#know how to communicate it
#know how to collaborate with it
#know how to problem solve with it.
#that's the 21st century set of literacies!

At least it's direct whilst you only have one of his books.
Hmmm, blogspot is chopping that link. It's there in full in the page source though.
